Update on the Biddinghuizen project:

The center in the municipality of Dronten will receive its first zero-energy project in the form of 18 single-family rental homes. The energy-neutral project is beautifully centrally located near facilities and will be delivered very soon: this summer the first residents will already receive their key.

The 18 rental properties are divided into 2 blocks and are completely gas-free, with various sustainable energy generators such as solar panels. The three-story single-family homes are equipped with fully finished luxury kitchens and sanitary facilities. Generous sunny gardens will be created at the rear with a separate storage room for each resident.

Solar panels generate enough energy to power all normal household activities.

Project manager Don Holten from Sustay explains enthusiastically:

“I am very pleased that, together with the landlord, we have opted for zero-energy homes. Such a home generates as much energy as it consumes. With normal use this means that an entire family no longer has to worry about their energy bill. Moreover, the concept fits well in with the energy transition which is gaining traction within our society and politics. "

Together with construction company Schutte, Sustay has a lot of experience in delivering zero energy homes on schedule and within the budget. Estate agent Woltjer from Dronten will be in charge of renting out the houses.
